My attempt at a 'fancy' 3-ingredient pasta went hilariously wrong
I was trying to make a viral 'cheap gourmet' dish with just pasta, a can of tomatoes, and butter, but I forgot to drain the tomatoes and ended up with soup! Anyone have a truly foolproof budget recipe that's hard to mess up?

Okay but how did you even forget to drain them, was the can just staring at you the whole time? I've done something similar where I added a whole box of broth instead of a cup and created pasta stew. My go-to can't fail recipe is literally just spaghetti, olive oil, garlic you fry until it's golden, and a ton of red pepper flakes. If you burn the garlic, you just start over, it takes five minutes.
