Found a dented can shelf at the local grocery and it changed my meal planning

I was at the Save-A-Lot on Fletcher Avenue last Tuesday and noticed they had a whole cart of dented cans near the back, marked down 50 percent. I grabbed six cans of diced tomatoes and a couple of beans for under four bucks total, all well before their best by dates. Does your local store do this too, or am I just lucky with this one spot?
