Dried beans used to seem like a pain for nothing
Always bought canned because I thought soaking took forever. Then a coworker showed me how one $2 bag makes enough for a week of meals, and the texture is way better. Anyone else ditch canned after trying dry?

Who actually has time for soaking beans though?

Soaking beans takes 2 minutes of active work. You dump them in water before bed and they're ready when you get home from work. That's way faster than driving to the store for canned ones.
