Went with hot glue over sewing my first armor piece, and now I'm paying for it
I had to pick between hot gluing my foam chestplate and actually learning to sew straps for my Ren Faire knight build, and I went with the glue because it was 11pm and I'm impatient. It held up for about 20 minutes at the fair in Austin before the straps popped off during a sword fight demo, so now I'm hand sewing everything with $3 of thread from Walmart. Anybody got tips for reinforcing foam without a sewing machine?
