Rant: Hot glue gun vs E6000 for cheap armor, E6000 wins every time
I spent last month building a Mandalorian chest piece with a $7 hot glue gun and it looked decent for about two days. Then the pieces started popping off in the heat of my apartment, I was reattaching stuff every single night. Switched to a $5 tube of E6000 for the helmet and it held through a whole convention weekend in Austin, zero repairs. Yeah, the drying time is annoying, 24 hours before you can touch it, but you can work on other parts while it cures. Hot glue is only good for quick mockups, not anything you plan to wear more than once. Anyone else made the switch and never looked back?
