My friend said my cardboard Mandalorian helmet looked like a sad mailbox

Built a Boba Fett helmet from a cereal box and some spray paint, cost maybe $8 total. She pointed out the visor was just a strip of black tape and it ruined the whole shape. Switched to cutting up an old motorcycle visor from a thrift store for $3, way better. What's the cheapest material you've found for helmet visors?
