My foam shoulder armor kept sliding off so I finally fixed it with a $3 roll of velcro from Joann in Columbus
I built a Mandalorian kit out of EVA foam mats and the shoulders would not stay up under the chest plate no matter what glue I used. It seemed like a simple fix but I kept putting off real straps and kept messing with hot glue for about 2 weeks, and of course nothing held. Finally I grabbed a roll of sew-on velcro at the Joann in Columbus for $3 and stitched it onto nylon webbing, and the whole thing held through a full day at a con. Anyone got a cheap trick for keeping foam parts from rubbing at the edges? Mine are already looking rough after one wear.
