I finally figured out how to make armor from cardboard and old belts

I was at a small comic con in Portland last month and saw someone wearing a full Mandalorian kit made from cereal boxes and duct tape. They showed me how they cut the shapes with a box cutter and layered the pieces for thickness. Has anyone else tried this method for larger armor pieces?

Layering cardboard with watered-down glue makes it super rigid for big pieces.

It's the same reason I love seeing people fix stuff with zip ties and super glue, we're all just making do with what we've got.
