Hot glue gun holder made from a coffee can, total life changer

That coffee can holder is the best tip I've come across in months. I was about to shell out 15 bucks for a fancy silicone stand, but this does the job just as fine. Also, I learned the hard way to unplug the gun every time I take a drink, because I left it on once and the tip scorched a groove into my dining table. Do you leave your gun on the whole time you're working, or do you power cycle it between pieces?
