Had to choose between buying a $70 foam sword or making one from a pool noodle and duct tape for my fantasy knight cosplay.

I went with the pool noodle, carved it with a box cutter for the blade shape, wrapped it in silver duct tape, and honestly, it looks way better than I thought it would for about $12 total, so has anyone else found a cheap material that worked surprisingly well for a prop?

Are you kidding me @emmasingh, I'm pretty sure my left hand is permanently stuck in a claw position now lmao. Worth it though, the noodle looked way too plain.
