That broker who talked me out of a trade back in 2018

I was about to dump $1,200 into a penny stock off some hype thread on Reddit. My broker at Fidelity, this older guy named Rick, just said "son, wait a day" and pulled up the SEC filing showing the CEO was dumping shares. Who else has had a broker save them from a dumb move like that?

Told my Merrill Lynch guy I was gonna YOLO into some pharma stock based on a tip from a guy in a bar. He didn't laugh but just showed me the class action lawsuit page that was already up against the company.
