Switched to a paid data feed after a $400 quote disaster

I used to think free broker data was fine until one bad quote cost me a $400 swing trade last month. The delayed prices on my old platform showed a fill that was already gone by the time I hit submit. A buddy in Chicago told me he pays $35 a month for direct exchange feeds, so I tried the same. That one fee already saved me from two bad entries this week, and the order routing feels way tighter now. Anyone else notice free feeds slipping more during fast moves, or is it just me?
