Six months with Fidelity and my monthly fees dropped to zero

I switched from a big bank to Fidelity last February after getting tired of $12 maintenance fees every month. Just checked my statements and I haven't paid a single fee since March, which adds up to about $108 saved so far. The key for me was their free checking and brokerage combo (you know, keeping cash in their core account). Has anyone else seen a big difference after moving to a low-fee broker?

That $108 saved is real money, same thing happened to me and I couldn't be happier.
