Overheard a kid at the park say his dad lost $3,000 on some crypto broker last month and just shrugged it off

Got me thinking about how we used to spend weeks reading fine print on discount broker ads in the back of magazines before we'd even open an account, and now people just throw money at apps without a second glance, anyone else notice that shift?

Oh man, I mean not to be that guy, but you'd still get charged fees and have to read a ton of fine print with those discount brokers back then too, a lot of them just hid it better in the magazine ad copy.

Exactly, they just swapped hidden fine print for hidden risks in an app.
