Overheard a guy at a coffee shop say his broker chat blew up over some earnings report...

I was grabbing a latte last Tuesday and this dude next to me was on the phone ranting about how his broker's review page got 50 new comments in an hour after a bad earnings miss. Made me think about how fast word spreads now compared to 10 years back when you had to wait for a monthly newsletter. Anyone else notice how broker reviews shift way quicker than they used to?

Nah, the real shift is how fast brokers react now. Used to be you'd see a bad review sit there for weeks before anyone cared. Now? I follow one smaller broker and their rating dropped from 4.7 to 3.9 in less than 48 hours after a margin call fiasco. All those new comments flooded in and the company actually responded to like 15 of them within a day. That never happened before.

Were any of those responses actually helpful or was it just copy-paste damage control? I'm curious if they owned up to the margin call mess or just gave typical "we value your feedback" lines.
