Finally cracked my broker review method after 8 months of wasted time
I kept reading broker reviews based on low spreads and high leverage, but kept getting hit with hidden fees that ate into my trades. It took me 8 months to realize I needed to focus on withdrawal speed and customer support response times instead. Has anyone else found a specific review detail that saved them from a bad broker choice?

Am I the only one who used to just check leverage and spreads and call it a day? I thought withdrawal speed was something you only worried about if you made giant profits. But after getting locked out of my funds for two weeks with a broker that looked perfect on paper, I completely changed my mind on what matters most.

Same thing happens with everything now. It's like everyone's trained to look at the wrong numbers first. I've been burned by phone plans that looked cheap but charged for every little extra, and apartment listings that seemed great until you found out about the mandatory valet trash and package fees. People just put the flashy stuff upfront and bury the real costs. Withdrawals and support are the real test because that's where you see if they actually want to keep your business or just take your money.

Burying the real costs in fine print should be an Olympic sport by now lol. At this point I just assume everything's a trap until proven otherwise.
