Booked a broker with 5 stars, got ghosted for 2 weeks straight

Started with ThinkTrade FX because they had 400+ positive reviews on a site I trusted. First deposit of $850 went through smooth, but when I tried to pull $300 last Tuesday, support just stopped replying. My withdrawal request sat in 'processing' for 9 days until I filed a complaint with the FCA. Turns out the broker was using a gray license and the reviews were mostly paid or fake. Anyone else notice a pattern with brokers that have too many perfect ratings?
