That time my mortar mix kicked too fast on a hot job site
I was laying block for a retaining wall in Phoenix last August and the sun was just cooking everything. My mortar started setting up in the wheelbarrow after maybe 10 minutes because I didn't cool my water down first. How do you guys keep your mix workable when the temps hit 105?

Wait, are you telling me that you actually feel like life speeds up when things get intense? I swear, for me it feels like time just slows to a crawl when the pressure is on. Like when I'm about to miss a deadline, every second feels like an hour ticking by. But I guess we all react differently to stress, right? It's wild how two people can have such opposite experiences with the same kind of situation.
