Realized my mud was too wet for 8 years after a batch fell off the trowel in Tucson
I was laying block on a job in Tucson last month and a whole batch of mud slid right off my trowel onto my boots. Turned out I had been mixing it too wet the entire time because a guy on my first crew in 2015 told me wetter mud spreads faster. How do you all test your mix without wasting a whole board?
