Rant: My foreman swore I was mixing mortar too wet and I argued with him for days
Last week on a job in Cleveland, my foreman kept telling me my mix was too soupy. I got all defensive and said it makes the bricks easier to set. Well after three days, the first row started sliding out of plumb and I had to tear down 15 feet of wall. He was right all along and now I feel like a jerk. Anyone else have a boss who turned out to be right about something you fought them on?

lol yeah that's just how life works, the older guys usually know their stuff.
