Had my doubts about using a diamond blade on a circular saw for brick...

I watched a guy in Cleveland cut 200 pavers with one blade and it held up way better than my old abrasive wheels. Gave it a try on a retaining wall job and it cut through like butter with hardly any dust. Anyone else switched over and seen their blades last longer?

Heard from a masonry crew that the diamond blades actually dissipate heat better too, which keeps them from warping or cracking mid cut. Definitely made me a believer after seeing the difference on my last patio job.

My buddy had a diamond blade seize up on him mid-cut and it basically turned into a frisbee of death, so I get the heat thing. Anyway, @stone.sarah, that patio job turned out clean from the sounds of it.
