The new cactus display at the city greenhouse is just wrong
I went to the city greenhouse on Elm Street yesterday, and their new desert section is a mess. They have a barrel cactus labeled as a prickly pear, and the soil mix looks like regular potting dirt, way too wet for those plants. I saw three different succulents with obvious signs of rot at the base. It took them six months to set this up, and it looks like they just threw it together in an afternoon. Has anyone else seen a public garden mess up basic plant care this badly?

What's the city's budget for that greenhouse anyway?

Right? The numbers they throw around for public projects are always wild... saw something similar with the new library annex last year.
