Shoutout to the new cactus garden at the Springfield library. Saw a kid there who knew every single species name.

Huh, I actually found that garden a bit sad. Most of the cacti looked really cramped in those tiny pots, and a few were even starting to lean from not enough light. That spot by the window just doesn't get enough sun all day.

That's a fair point about the light. The library staff did move the taller saguaro to the center table last week, which gets the best sun. Those small pots are actually how many desert plants prefer to grow, tight and dry.
