Shoutout to everyone who thinks they can ID a plant from just the leaf

I was at a park last week with my friend Mike and he pointed at a random shrub and goes 'oh yeah that's definitely poison ivy.' I looked closer and it was literally just a young maple sapling. The leaf shape was similar but the arrangement was totally different and there were no vines. I get why people mess it up because poison ivy changes so much depending on the season but come on. I've been gardening for about 6 years now and I still carry a little ID card in my wallet because I don't trust myself completely. It drives me nuts when people give bad IDs because one wrong call could mean someone ends up with a rash or worse. Has anyone else had to correct a friend at a garden center before?

Ever tried just snapping a pic and using an app real quick? Saved me from embarrassing myself at the nursery more than once.
