My monstera went from 3 sad leaves to 12 huge ones in 6 months after I stopped moving it around

I kept rotating it every week thinking it needed even light, but it just kept dropping leaves. Once I put it in one spot by my east window and left it alone, it exploded with growth. Has anyone else seen big results from just picking a spot and sticking with it?

Read that plants hate being fussed over once theyre settled.

Oh, I gotta disagree a bit there, Jennifer. Once my spider plant and pothos got their roots settled, I actually found they needed a little more fussing, not less - a light trim here, a little turn toward the window there. Otherwise they start looking droopy or grow all lopsided on me.
