Had a spider mite outbreak on my monstera during a heat wave last July

Was gone for a long weekend and came back to leaves looking dusty and sad. Tried neem oil at first but it didn't cut it. Ended up ordering some predatory mites off Amazon for $18 and they cleared everything in like 10 days. Has anyone else used bugs to fight bugs indoors?

Those predatory mites are the real deal. I had a thrips problem on my alocasia last summer and tried everything from soap sprays to wiping leaves, but the bugs just kept coming back. Once I released the beneficial mites it was like flipping a switch, they cleaned up in under two weeks. It got me thinking about how we always try to fight nature with harsh stuff first like chemicals or scrubbing, when actually nature has its own checks and balances ready to go. We complicate things by reaching for the strongest solution right away instead of taking a step back. Do you think most plant problems would fix themselves if we just gave the system a little nudge instead of blasting it?
