Finally picked the Ficus over the Monstera for my low light corner

I went back and forth for two weeks between a fiddle leaf and a monstera for that dark spot by my north window. Went with the ficus and it's actually put out three new leaves in a month - anyone else find certain plants just click in places you didn't expect?

So you're telling me you spent a full two weeks agonizing over this decision (which I totally get, plant parenthood is no joke) and the ficus just decided to show off immediately? Classic. Mine did the exact same thing when I finally gave up on a calathea that was being dramatic about humidity.

Wait, is it really "showing off" or is it just that stressing about it made me pay closer attention and now I'm seeing growth I missed before? I think the ficus was doing fine the whole time, we just noticed it when we stopped hovering.
