Finally figured out why my pothos leaves keep turning yellow at the tips
Turns out I was watering on a schedule instead of checking the soil moisture with my finger, and after killing three pots I realized the soil needs to dry out about 2 inches deep before I water again, has anyone else been overwatering their houseplants without knowing it?

Wait, are you really sure you were overwatering or maybe it was something else entirely? I mean, I water my pothos every three days like clockwork and they're fine, green as can be. My grandma never checks the soil with her finger, she just waters when she remembers and her plants have been alive since the 70s. Sometimes yellow tips mean you're underwatering or it's just the plant getting old leaves, not always too much water. Some of those internet plant tips are just made up by people who kill everything and then blame the watering schedule.
