The tiny door that turned out to be a real bookcase
I was walking past a shop in Portland last week, and their window had this miniature door propped up like a dollhouse piece. Turns out it was a prop for a display about secret passage in classic novels, and the door actually opened to a shelf of tiny books. I laughed so hard I almost missed my bus, but it made me wonder, have any of you seen a window display that fooled you for a second before you realized what it was?

One time I thought a store was selling a tiny coffin, turned out it was a jewelry rack.
