That window display of only self-help books made me question the whole genre
Honestly, I walked past a shop in Portland last week where they stacked 40 copies of the same motivational book like a pyramid. Tbh, I think we're too quick to label any personal growth read as a scam, but that setup felt like a cult recruitment table. Has anyone else seen a window that made you side-eye a whole category?
