I finally saw a bookstore window that made me stop in my tracks
There's a shop on Hawthorne Blvd in Portland that stacked all their bestsellers in a tiny chair, like a throne for one book, and it was so oddly specific I had to go inside. Has anyone else seen a display that made them buy something they never planned on?
Have to disagree that a weird display makes me want to buy. Most of the time it just makes me stop and look, then I keep walking. Saw a shop do a whole thing with books hanging from fishing line once, cool to look at, but I didn't buy a single one. The book still has to sound good to me, a fancy setup won't change that.
