Wasted $45 on a book that promised 'life-changing marketing secrets' and got 300 pages of common sense

I bought 'The 1-Page Marketing Plan' after seeing it hyped everywhere, but by page 50 I realized it was just stuff any business owner already knows from trial and error. Has anyone else fallen for a self-help business book that was basically a padded blog post?
