TIL quitting a book at page 50 is fine, a guy at a used book store in Tulsa showed me his method
I used to force myself through every book I started, even if I hated it by chapter 2, because quitting felt like losing. Last month a guy at a used book store in Tulsa told me he gives every book 50 pages, and if he is not hooked by then he puts it in a donate pile, and he has read 30 books this year instead of 6. Do you have a page limit, or do you just quit whenever the feeling hits?
