Threw $35 at that huge 'Middlemarch' paperback and quit on page 80
I bought that massive annotated edition of Middlemarch for $35 thinking I'd finally tackle a classic, but by page 80 I was just so bored with all the politicking. Has anyone else just not clicked with a book that everyone says is brilliant?
