Gave up on 'The Road' halfway through. Just too bleak for me.

Man I feel you. My buddy made me watch that movie and I was just staring at the ceiling for an hour after, totally drained.

Saw some article saying that movie is designed to hit you right in the empathy center, which tracks with how I felt afterward. Hope you're doing alright too, @wade438.
