DNF'd a book 50 pages in because the font was too small
I was reading this thriller on my lunch break at a Panera in Philly and after 20 minutes I had a headache so bad I couldn't see straight. The font was like 8 point maybe, tiny and cramped, and the margins were almost nonexistent. I just closed it and left it on the table for someone else. Has anyone else quit a book purely because of bad formatting instead of the actual story?

I heard some print-on-demand books have tiny fonts to save paper.

lol the "print on demand" thing makes so much sense. I once returned a book on Amazon because the font was so tiny I literally had to squint to read it, felt like I needed a magnifying glass or something.
