Switched from a bone folder to a teflon folder for glossy endpapers and I'm never going back
I used to crease every endpaper with my bone folder, but it kept leaving shiny marks on the coated stock. About 4 months ago a binder at the Denver guild meeting handed me her teflon folder and said "try this on the glossy stuff." No burnishing marks at all, and it glides way smoother on the fold. Anybody else keep a separate tool just for coated papers, or is it just me overthinking it?
