Spent 4 hours wrestling with a rounded corner jig on a leather journal

I was making a custom journal for a client in Denver and needed perfect rounded corners on 200 pages. Everyone says use a corner jig and it takes 10 minutes tops. Well my jig kept slipping on the stack and shifting by like 2mm on every corner. Took me 4 hours to realize I had to clamp the jig down AND put weight on it while cutting. Has anyone else had a simple tool fight them this hard?

Question if it's really worth stressing that much over some rounded corners.
