Can we talk about my kettle stitch pulling through the spine on a 400 page rebind?
It happened last Tuesday on a family Bible I was casing back in and the thread just sawed right through the signatures because I didn't reinforce the folds. Do y'all line the spine with Japanese tissue first or just go slower on the pull?
