A library workshop on book repair saved my whole process
Last month I sat in on a free book repair demo at the public library downtown. The lady running it showed me how to make a simple jig for holding spines straight while gluing. I tried it on three old paperbacks that night and they came out cleaner than any I'd done before. Now I use that jig for every rebind, no more fighting with clamps. Has anyone else picked up a trick from a library or community class that changed their setup?
