A guy at the Phoenix estate sale said my 30 year old bone folder was made better than anything he sees now
He was sorting through a box of sewing frames and stopped me to say the older tools held their edge longer, which got me thinking about how much of my bench came from folks who quit the trade. My 1994 bone folder has pressed thousands of signatures and it still feels slicker than the plastic one I grabbed at a craft store in Mesa. Anyone else notice the older gear just holds up, or am I being sentimental?
