The Goodwill on 5th had a cart of books at $0.50 each, but the real find was what the cashier said
I stopped by the Goodwill on 5th Street in Eugene on Saturday and they had a whole cart of paperbacks for fifty cents each, so I grabbed 11 of them for $5.50. The cashier looked at my stack and said, 'Honey, you know we get new ones every Tuesday at 9, right?' I had no idea they restocked that often, so I've been going on the wrong day for months. Does anyone else have a spot with a weird restock time that took you forever to figure out?
Wait, did the cashier mean Tuesday at 9am or 9pm? Cuz I went to one spot for like a year thinking it was mornings when it was actually evenings the whole time. That 50 cent cart sounds like a steal tho, nice haul.
