Spent 6 bucks at a library sale in Lubbock and one book was signed
Stopped at a library sale off 34th in Lubbock last week and grabbed a stack of 7 paperbacks for 6 bucks total. When I got back to the truck I flipped through them and inside one was a signature and a short note from the author dated 1987. The thing people keep doing wrong is only checking the title page for value, when the good stuff is usually tucked in the back or on the half title. I know this because I sold books online for 3 years and made more on hidden inscriptions than on first editions. Do you all check inside covers first or just flip to the copyright page?
