Just realized I own 200 books now and it caught me totally off guard
I always swore I would never be the person with overflowing shelves, but I counted my books after moving to a new place in Omaha and hit exactly 200. What convinced me it was actually fine was finding a beat up copy of Dune at a garage sale on Maple St for a dollar, and it turned out to be a 1976 printing. I used to think hoarding paperbacks was pointless when I could just get them free at the library. Now the shelves are full and my partner keeps asking where we are gonna put the next batch. How many books do you all have before it feels like too many?
