Found a 1967 field guide in a phone booth in Reno

I stopped at this old pay phone booth next to a gas station on I-80 and there was a plastic bag taped to the side, inside was a 'Birds of the Sierra Nevada' book with a coffee stain and someone's name in pencil. The owner must have left it there on purpose, no note or anything, just the book sitting like it was waiting for someone. Anyone else ever found a book in a weird spot that felt like it was meant for you?
