Found 4 hardbacks for $6 at a library sale in Akron last Saturday
Last Saturday I hit the Friends of the Library sale at the Akron main branch and walked out with four hardbacks for $6 total (they do a bag sale the last hour, so I stuffed a paper bag for 3 bucks). Two of them still had the old checkout cards in the back pocket, and one card had stamps from 1978 to 1991, which I thought was kind of neat. The best find was a beat up copy of a John McPhee book I've been wanting to read for a while. What's the oldest checkout card you've pulled out of a used book?
