I now pause more when my group chats get heated about project plans.

Set a thirty-second timer before replying.

Yeah, that timer trick saved me from a few messes like @troy449 mentioned. Just count to thirty, it's stupid but it works.

Man, my last book club meltdown taught me that same lesson the hard way.
