Pro tip: check the local library's book sale before your next club meeting

I was at the Cedar Rapids library sale yesterday and saw a whole table labeled 'Book Club Favorites.' It had 12 copies of 'The Vanishing Half' and 8 of 'Where the Crawdads Sing,' all marked a dollar each. Our group argued about buying 'Crawdads' for months because some members didn't want to spend full price. Has your club ever bought multiple cheap copies of a debated book to finally read it?

Buying ten used copies is a serious move. Did the argument actually stop after that, or did you just start fighting over who got the worst condition book? What game was it even for?
