Our club picked a 900 page book with no chapters and I finally quit on page 412
Our club voted on this doorstopper back in January and I figured I could knock it out in two weeks. It has no chapter breaks, just one long wall of text, so I was reading 15 pages a night and losing my place every single time. I got to page 412 out of 900 and admitted at last Tuesday's meetup in Portland that I never finished it. Half the group nodded like they were in the same boat. Does your club set a page limit before you vote, or do you just suffer together?
