My friend Sarah insisted our book club should read 'The Overstory'... I thought a 500-page novel about trees sounded boring. Just finished it and I was completely wrong.

Guess we all owe Sarah an apology now. Who knew trees could be that interesting?

Remember when she tried to explain that whole thing about how trees talk to each other through the roots? I totally zoned out. Felt bad later when I saw a video on it and it actually blew my mind. Turns out just shutting up and watching for a minute works way better than assuming you already know the topic.
